EVENT: Chardonnay is known for carrying citrus flavors such as lemon or
grapefruit. Shiraz is associated with wild black-fruits such as black currant. Merlot often
takes on the flavor of black cherry. If you prefer the taste of apples, you might enjoy a
glass of Riesling. The strong, lingering fruit flavors help define a wine and build its
character. They add a touch of sweetness, enhancing the full taste of the wine.
